an apple a day.. when I was a kid, I used to suffer a lot from allergies. Back then, it really came on in late summer and all through the fall. It was miserable. There wasn't really any particular medication I took for it. We lived simply. But then an uncle suggested a spoonful of raw honey each morning. i did notice an improvement over the years, but I tend to think I just grew out of it. in later years, I worked very hard and on the move constantly. It got to the point where I was passing out every afternoon. I was spent after a few hours. My doctor told me my immune system was in shreds. i became interested in the immune system, and began to learn all I could about it. Eventually I learned that, in order to keeep up the pace I lived, I had to use supplemental nutrients, because my body was using up what I was poutting in with food I ate. My learning has kept up ever since, and more recently I have accumulated information on keeping the brain functioning usefully, and on how to avoid cancers, of which there are many. It is really interesting, but what appals me is that so few people seem to appreciate how much information is available, if they would only look for it. They would certainly not be the medical basketcases that seem to be everywhere these days!
